Augusto González de Linares
The School of Marine Sciences and Technologies "Augusto González Linares", is an educational initiative which began in 2006 to build a stable framework to communicate the efforts made in Spain on the different marine research fields, as well as their relationship with other areas such as climatology, biology, ecology etc. IH Cantabria along with the University of Cantabria, the Port Authority of Santander and the International University of Menendez Pelayo (UIMP) participate actively in the coordination, and teaching of these special courses in which over the last years, some of the most prominent spanish researchers have participated.
